A new blog, and more games to the people
Check out Avfällingen, a new indie roleplaying game blog in Swedish. So far it’s aimed towards people who’s not very familiar with story games, or progressive games as Avfällingen calls them.
There’s also great news from a comment to a post on the blog. The Swedish game store Goblin Games in Gothenburg has ordered a bunch of games from Indie Press Revolution. The first batch includes Spirit of the Century, Dogs in the Vineyard, Conspiracy of Shadows, Panty Explosion and Dictionary of Mu. Sorcerer, Burning Wheel, Burning Empires, Artesia, Grim Tales, a|state and Universalis is already available.
This is great because you can’t get these games in Sweden unless you order them from IPR or from the publishers themselves. I’m sure I’ll find the games anyway, but it will be great to have a place to send people to if they don’t want to pay the shipping costs for individual games. Especially on gaming conventions it will be a lot easier for people to find the games they might try in Indierummet (the Indie Room, page in Swedish).
